The image on this page is an artist's sketch of the uniform being designed for the Mountainside Maverick Marching Band. The artist is Michael Cesario, a world-renowned marching band and color guard visual designer. His concept is intended to evoke the mane and tail of our Maverick mascot through the flowing blue and silver colors on the jacket that elegantly sweeps to a unique jacket tail that continues down the side and back of the uniform. Other notable features are the similar color tones used on the hat (called a shako) and the striking silver fabric on the gauntlets of the uniform.
